Seslendirme sanatçısı, sinema ve dizi oyuncusu Köksal Engür, 77 yaşında yaşamını yitirdi.
Engür’ün ölüm haberini duyuran oyuncu Cengiz Bozkurt, sosyal medyada yaptığı paylaşımda, “Köksal Engür abimizi böbrek yetmezliğine bağlı komplikasyonlar sebebiyle kaybettik. Cenazesine dair açıklamayı yarın yapacağız. Başta ailesi olmak üzere tüm sevenlerinin başı sağ olsun” ifadelerini kullandı.
Usta oyuncu Engür, özellikle son dönemde “Leyla ile Mecnun” dizisinde oynadığı “Ak Sakallı Dede” rolüyle izleyicilerin beğenisini kazanmıştı.
Engür’ün ölüm haberinin ardından, sanatçı dostları ile sevenleri baş sağlığı mesajları yayınladı.
KÖKSAL ENGÜR KİMDİR?
5 Mart 1946 doğumlu olan Engür, 1956 yılında TRT Ankara Radyosu, Çocuk Saati programında kısa radyo tiyatrolarıyla başlayan deneyimleri, Ankara Üniversitesi, Dil ve Tarih Coğrafya Fakültesi Tiyatro Bölümü’nden 1969 yılında mezun olana kadar sürdü.
Ankara Halkevi, Sahne 9, Ankara Deneme Sahnesi, Çağdaş Sahne, Hodri Meydan Tiyatrosu, Dormen Tiyatrosu, Ali Poyrazoğlu Tiyatrosu ve Küçük Sahne gibi birçok tiyatroda rol aldı.
Tiyatroyla sınırlı kalmayan oyuncu, sinema ve dizi filmlerde de yer alıyordu. Birçok yapımda seslendirme de yapan Engür, Hollywood yıldızları Robert de Niro, Al Pacino, Dustin Hoffman ve Robin Williams’ın yanı sıra Susam Sokağı’ndaki Büdü karakterini, Red Kit çizgi filminde Red Kit’i ve SüngerBob KareŞort çizgi dizisinde Squitward’ü seslendirdi.
Afife Tiyatro Ödülleri’nde 1999’da “Yılın En İyi Erkek Oyuncusu”, 2002’de ise “Yılın En Başarılı Müzikal ya da Komedi Erkek Oyuncusu” seçilen sanatçı, 2005’te 16. Ankara Film Festivali’nde “Yardımcı Erkek Oyuncu” ödülünü aldı.
